Status you can ask for
A named coordinator, status on request, and exceptions raised as they arise

Operated by Rite Way Freight LTD
Someone who knows the load
Updates come from the coordinator who booked the shipment, not from a queue.
Problems raised early
Weather, border, and permit issues are reported when they are known rather than at delivery.
Closed out on delivery
Proof of delivery is returned when the load is off, and the file is closed against the agreed scope.
How updates work
A specialized load does not move like a parcel. It waits on a permit office, a crane crew, a border, or a site that is not ready to receive it — and a tracking number would not explain any of that.
So updates come from the coordinator on the file. They know what the load is, which carrier has it, what the permit allows, and what has to happen next. Status is available on request at any point, and dispatch stays reachable around the clock while freight is in transit.
What gets reported without being asked for is exceptions: a delayed clearance, a route change after a survey, a weather closure, a schedule slip at the receiving site. Those are raised when they are known, because they usually change what the customer needs to do at their end.
What updates cover
- Confirmation once the load is dispatched
- Pickup completed and secured
- Location and progress on request
- Border clearance status on cross-border moves
- Permit conditions and travel windows
- Escort movements on over-dimensional loads
Reporting by region
What is worth reporting on changes with where the freight is going.
Québec and Ontario
Short lanes where the useful update is the delivery window, not the location.
Western Canada
Long transits and remote sites, where site readiness drives the schedule.
Atlantic Canada
Vessel and terminal windows reported alongside road progress.
United States
Clearance status at the crossing, then state-by-state permit conditions.

Communication is the review category customers comment on most — the same team that books the load is the one that answers about it.
